Question Moving a motherboard RAID array to a new identical motherboard

I've recently seemed to have slightly short circuited my MOBO (ASRock H670 PG Riptide), and have decided to buy the same MB, as i have been very satisfied with it, but also because i would like to easily transfer the RAID array (Raid 5) and not have to reinstall everything else. It is plugged into the 4 available SATA slots, and was set up through Intel Memory and Storage Management. Should that be fine? But regardless, i should back up everything before the move, so my initial question might not be that relevant

That aside, if you're interested, what happened is that I tried to hot plugging my M2 ssd and accidentally touched the MB (yes i did that), which turned my PC off immediately. Now either the M2 slot doesn't work or the SSD itself (I'm getting a M2 to pcie adapter to see). Additionally, now my fans have rather erratic activity, such as spinning up very fast when my temperatures are idle, or if i disconnect one, some of them just don't spin up when temperatures get hot. Which begs the question, is it the mobo, the fans, or both? But regardless, a new mobo is definitely what i should get (and a good spanking)

First - Do you have a known good backup of the entire contents of the RAID array?
Second - Is the OS contained in this RAID?

Does the system currently boot up?
1 - No back up YET

2- OS contained on another drive

3- System works very well. only issues are fans spinning up too much/or not spinning (edit possible issue with m2 slot being dead)
