Moving folders in C:\ drive folder to Program Files Folder

Hello,
I have pretty simple question, I'm running Windows XP SP3 and I would like to organize the folders in my C:\ drive a bit. I have quite a few programs installed on my machine and I have found that some of them have copied their program files directly into the C:\ drive instead of into C:\Program Files. I was just wondering if I would be able to simply drag and drop the out of place folders in C:\ to the program files folder where they belong.

I wouldn't suggest that as registry links are to the location installed. Moving them breaks the connection. If you just dont want to see them hide the folder.

No, not even a little bit.
Things will break, rendering those applications unusable.

Just leave then as is.
