Hi all again ,

So right now i have a evga 1070 sc (thanks to the community) and thinking of moving from 1080p. Now i have been looking around at 1440p and 4k monitors , now i have seen a 4k model http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/computing/pc-monitors/pc-monitors/aoc-u2879vf-4k-ultra-hd-28-led-monitor-with-mhl-10146005-pdt.html But i have been reading that down scaling on a 4k to (2k) 1440p says that there is blur at 1440p ...what does the blur look like? i have yet to see a picture or would you recommend a 1440p like http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/computing/pc-monitors/pc-monitors/aoc-q2577pwq-quad-hd-25-ips-led-monitor-with-mhl-10142190-pdt.html?intcmpid=display~RR or http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/computing/pc-monitors/pc-monitors/acer-g277hu-full-hd-27-led-monitor-10071549-pdt.html i know you may not know the model ect but just a exp.. if anyone would like to comment please do as all info is valuable.

If your running a 4k monitor but need to scale the resolution back for performance reasons, your better off going down to 1080p instead of 2560x1440. This is because 4k is exactly 4X the resolution of 1080p so you will not have any distortions.

That being said, I personally would go for a 1440p monitor with the 1070 especially if your looking for a ~27" monitor. If you want something that is 34"+ then 4k is probably going to be the better choice because of pixel density.
