Moving internal hard drive to external enclosure

No its secondary storage drive, the reason i want to move it, because i have 3tb hard drive and then 6tb, but then eventually 3tb will be full in future, so i want to add another 6tb hard drive to make both 6tb equal with same files in them, kinda like raid were all files are mirrored - same on both hard drives

Don't mirror, don't RAID 1.
Just add new drives as needed

No, im just mirroring files, so both hard drives have same files on them, but they are not in any sort of RAID - old school - copy / paste method so if, one hard drive dies there will be all files on another hard drive, would be adding 8tb hard drive but, price is skyrocketing with helium technology - 8tb price is like two normal 6tb hard drives

8TB. $240. No helium needed

I have one of these.

Is there any from wd? not very fond of Seagate, never had one from them, can't say if they good or failing, all my wd hdd's still work - oldest WD10EZEX being 4 years old still working no bad sectors or problems, just in my brothers pc

I bought this enclosure https://www.amazon.com/Inateck-Aluminum-Enclosure-Support-FE3001/dp/B00UAA4J6G/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1488517684&sr=8-3&keywords=inateck+usb+3.0+hdd+sata+external+hard+drive+disk+enclosure and after moving my wd green 3tb straight out of computer to enclosure and using it it was working like its in computer - no problems, but i remember if i do same with wd elements enclosure itself you have to format the drive since it uses different kind of format maybe exFAT not NTFS, because when i first installed wd blue 6tb to wd elements enclosure it was working after format but, after couple days started corrupting files, same was when i took out wd green out of wd elements enclosure it wasn't working in computer straight away - needed to format
