My setup:
ASUS Prime x299 Deluxe (has thunderbolt 3 card which I have not tried yet)
Samsung U28E850R (has 2 usb ports which I have not tried yet)
Samsung B2430HD
Gainward GeForce GTX 1080Ti Phoenix Golden Sample 11GB GDDR5X Graphics Card - DVI / HDMI / 3x DisplayPort
Audio card - UR22 mkII (USB2)

As the title says, I want to move my case to another room, as any kind of noise is bothering me for video and audio work. Mostly its video (Ppro and AE) and on rendering days it's unbearable (sometimes its 6 to 8 h of rendering).

So I have 2 displays, wired mouse and keyboard (wireless ones are not working for me, tried many and not switching back), usb sound card, usb piano which goes directly to usb2 port.

Not sure but my guess is that some thunderbolt hub (since I have thunderbolt card that came with the motherboard) would do the trick to connect this all up on 10 to 12m range? If so, please advise which one.
If not please advise what other options I have.
Have tons of external drives that do not have to go in the working room, but it would be nice to connect one or 2 external drives to the hub (not priority).
Also please recommend separate hub for external hard drives as there are more of them then my available usb 3 ports.

As I understand your post, you should get independently powered USB hubs.

And there are Thunderbolt hubs that meet that requirement.

Overall are you able to provide a simple sketch of the current or desired configuration? Does not need to be a work of art - just clear enough to show what devices are being connected and how they are being connected.

And to meet the 10-12 meter distance requirement you will need active USB cables.

A diagram or more specific explanation of your device and location requirements will be helpful with respect to more specific suggestions and recommendations.

Very good - great diagram.

That 12 meter distance between the two rooms is certainly an issue.

Ways to work through that - starter link:

Provide Midi keyboard #2 its' own power supply.

Check the respective User Guide/Manuals for the displays regarding the use of the USB ports. Fine print may be important.

I found the B2430HD User Manual (.pdf with 76 pages). Do verify that I found the correct manual.

Pages 53 & 54 of 76 explain the USB ports. And there are some warnings presented on those pages.

I am also going to move your post to home audio and theater. May garner additional input from the musicians and audio folks.
