Haven't found a thread that answers what I'm wondering so here goes. Can I move an SSD from old computer to new computer and have it retain *raw* data?
As in just store media files, setups and the likes, nothing that's actually been installed to the drive before moving since it would lose access to any registry and c: references an install might've created.
It's not meant to be an OS drive or anything like that so I was hoping I could just plug it in, assign a letter and acess the data that is on it.
