Moving to 1440p

Moving to a 1440p from a 1080 monitor? I have a gtx 1080 FTW
and an i7 7700k and I’m getting between 120 and 160 FPS in battlefield 1 and I’m wondering if my FPS will go down or up when I go to a 27” 1440p. I heard that it will put more load on the GPU instead of the CPU and yeah basically want to know what to expect? Thanks a lot in advance

I didnt notice if it said what processor they were using in that test but hopefully something worse than mine probably so that it didn’t show a GTX 1080TI
So thanks I see now I actually read an article a long while back that actually said that the FPS would go up if ya can believe it but I’m sure that was bogus I was just hoping it wouldn’t be too much of a difference and I’m sure as cards and processors get better I’ll be able to get back up there to where I’m at now. Thanks for your input
