I built a new gaming rig last summer putting it in a beautiful Fractal Design R4 (Build Below) and while there is nothing wrong with my current build I've decided to make the jump to a full water-cooling build, mainly out of need for a new project and hopefully lower noise levels.
I have been looking at the H440 case as a strong possibility due to it being a mid tower case with the "ability" to support 2 360mm radiators ( I keep getting conflicting answers on this).
As a side note my friend recently told me about Fractal Designs upcoming expandable Water coolers and he even suggested I perhaps buy two 360mm ones to cool my entire system since it would be very simple. I don't know if his suggestion is very practical compared to creating a my own loop but I have been giving it some thought.
I would appreciate any suggestions on what parts to get for cooling an H440, preferably an explicit list since I have never done water cooling before. I am open to suggestions on another case, I simply chose the H440 because of its compact size.
Current Plan:
In about two weeks I will be ordering a 1TB samsung Evo or its successor if it is announced, so hard drive storage bays are not necessary. Depending on the total cost of upgrading to water cooling and a new case I may or may not purchase a new motherboard.
Build
Cpu- i5 4670k @ 4.0 Ghz
Cooler- H90
Motherboard- Asus Z87I Deluxe (got it from an HTPC build)
Memory- G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB
Storage- 128 GB Samsung 840 Pro
Storage- 1TB WD Black @7200Rpm
Graphics- Gtx 780 Classified @ Stock
Case- Fractal Design R4
PSU- Fractal Design Tesla 650w
Thank you, and I apologize if I missed anything I was in a rush.
