Mozilla Firefox stopped working?

whenever I try to open an icon on my desk-top it gives me a pop up error message, that Fire Fox is not working but when I close the rror message the page comes up anyway. How to stop error message?

What about reinstalling it? Have you updated it to the most recent version?
