Question MPG z490 GAMING PLUS, BOOT-LED lite on, w/ Black screen

The title says, BOOT-LED lit on: Indicates the booting device is not detected or failed.

I only have an M.2 1Tb Evo installed, no other HDD, and I get a black screen using any cable USBC, HDMI, DP ECT, and no graphics card installed yet because it has not arrived. I am trying to use the onboard video for the time being while I get everything installed. The question I have is whether or not the mobo can detect the m.2 (currently installed), or do I need another hard drive?

Ram is in slots 2 and 4, from left to right.
I checked the CPU, and it is compatible and looks good.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list them like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:

Please state the slots for the ram as they're labelled on the motherboard. Most of them should have slots labelled A2 and B2, A1 and B1. if you're working with a processor that doesn't have an iGPU(assuming you're on a concurrent system), then you won't get display out of the motherboard's display output.
