MS ForceFeedback 2 Joystick USB wiring

I borrowed a friend's MS ForceFeedback2 Joystick but my brother left it on the floor the other night and the cord appear to have been chewn off by a rat the following morning. Worse thing is the USB plug part is missing. I have an old USB cable which I though I could use to make the connection but it turns out that it has only four (4) inner wires (plus the ground/shield) vs. the joystick which has seven (7) dongling wires. Anyone know the actual wiring configuration of the USB Joystick? I know USB really uses 5-point connections. I already tried MS's website but no luck. Any help would be very much appreciated as I have to return the joystick soon. Thanks!
