MSI 290X Lighting crossfire with XFX 290X

I currently have a 290X Lighting and I was considering getting a XFX 290X for crossfire but when looking at my current 290X I noticed it doesn't have the port for the crossfire bridge and the XFX one does does this mean I wouldn't be able to do crossfire with them?

You can crossfire any r9 290/x with any other r9 290/x. As long as the cards are the same series then they will work.

As with crossfire fingers, the r9 290's. None of them should have crossfire fingers at all. As communication is done through the PCI-e slots. So the XFx card should not have a crossfire finger, perhaps the image you have found is of a different card than what is listed.
