So the new h1z1 king of the kill is out & damn it looks nice.. but even on low i get a disappointing 40 to maximum 78 fps.. Even on csgo i can't run 299-300 fps max on low settings i get drops from 290-180 and sometimes even 140.. Do i have a bottleneck ? Or is this gpu just weak ..? I'm thinking to upgrade to a 1070 since bf1 is coming out real soon but im wondering if my cpu will pull this ?

Solution
sounds like pretty solid specs to me but the 960, although great (I have one) is not the best for the performance that I expect you are after, the 1070 is right up your street, even the 1060 will be great but I don't think you have a bottleneck, you are asking for 980 performance from a 960 card whereas i'm happy to get 60fps only on CSGO and all of my PC games :)

Upgrade to the 1070 when you can and then you will get the performance you are after I reckon :)

Yeah i had the 770 gtx before and the 960 only gave me a boost of 100 fps basically.. uhh ill get the 1070 and 8gb extra ddr4 then soon. Thanks !

That'll do the trick! 😀 Glad I could help :)

Don't forget to vote the best answer! Helps us out a lot :)

Im looking for more answers since i want to see what i should do.. I was thinking to change my whole setup cause i have a thing in my mind thinking my cpu is weak ..

Yes possibly, it definitely wouldn't hurt :) I have an OC i5 4690K which is amazing for its age, I would suggest going with an i7 6700k because that would....well it would make things a hell of a lot faster 😀

Depends how much you are willing to part with for components 😀

I'm not looking to stream thought so i5 would be the best for me.. is my cpu outdated? its like 4 months i bought it and they told me it was a great choise to game..

Ah ok fair enough :) Trust me your CPU is up to date, my CPU is out of date (4th gen) but you have a SkyLake and that's very new. You could go for the model up from yours which is the i5 6600K, that should be the best for you then :)
