So both are around 360€ and I dont know which one should I go with.
The 3.5/.5 vram problem on the 970 is kinda scaring me because I will be paying a lot for my PC and I am going to be playing at 1080p and I am planing to do that for 4 more years. I am fine as long as I dont have to go to low.
Thats all there is to it I would like some advices or something like that.
Also as I'm buying 4690k and I'm going to overclock it ( and the gpu I get ) so idk if 650w psu is enough for 970 and I know that I have to buy 750w for R9 390 but that isn't a problem so I can buy either one of them.
Thank you all for your help!

I've had a 4GB Asus Direct CUII R9-290X OC and this GTX 970 FTW+ ACX2.0+ in my sig below. At 1080p, my GPU D3D usage has never been over 2GB, even in graphically demanding games at max settings. Maybe I don't play the right games, but it would amaze me if a game used more than 3.5 GB VRAM at 1080p. Maybe with humongous mods, but I'd have to see it to believe it. And remember, the other 512 MB VRAM is still there, just slower.

As far as performance, I'd go with the newer, cooler running, lower wattage, newer tech GTX 970 over the slightly updated 2nd re-brand of the HD 7970. This comparison shows them nearly identical. And the cooler running 970 will OC to beat the 380's OC. Not to mention the fact that Nvidia's drivers are more...

Now, that's not to say various games won't favor one over the other.
