I downloaded MSI afterburner and I opened it up and my pc got a nasty blue screen before it opened saying something like Driver thread those are the only 2 words I remember and now I cannot get windows to boot back up
Hmmm... I have no idea why switching ports would cause the screen to go white.
What are you doing to switch from HDMI 1 to 2? Is that on your display or in Windows?
I switch from HDMI 1 - 2 when going from a gaming console to PC on my TV. Usually freezes very soon after that. but I left it on all night again did not crash so it has to be something to do with switching from hdmi 1 to 2
After leaving it on for 2 days straight it crashed overnight but, no white screen this time a black screen.
No error message nothing just a black screen. Once I restarted everything for normal again. I want to know the reason for these crashes
could you try another gpu in the system using the hdmi the same way you do with console and pc also doing the switchinw between 1and 2 ,the othewr thing does the console and pc are both one at the same time and send signal to tv .

I have solved the problem it was the GPU since I have an APU I tested to see if anything happened...nope. So as soon as I switched to GPU it crashes. I used a program to delete all drivers then I updated to the latest and now everything seems to be working 100% normal.
