Ive got some problems with my EVGa gtx 1060 3gb (single-fan). I am quite worried about the normal temperatures for this card. It's somewhere near 75-82 in games, so I decided to use a custom fan curve to keep it cool. After applying the settings the temps are around 75. It's ok for me.
Unfortunately, a weird situation happened to me last day. I launched Afterburner as usual (with the custom fan curve). Entered BF1 ,then. I've played for about 30 minutes when I heard a big noise coming from my pc, it was the GPU's fan (working for about 1 min at 100% ). I opened the the monitoring menu and found that my card was working for 3 minutes at the temperatures somewhere between 95-100 C. The fan speed was 0 all that time, the Custom fan curve was ENABLED!!!!
Why it wasn't working than?...
Probably thats a bug or something idk.
I am really worried about this. How can i fix this, a how can I check if the card is damaged or not?

Solution
try using default setting first (instead using fan custom fan curve) to see if your GPU still working properly. also you can try EVGA Presicion instead of MSI AB. as for the high temp under load it could be thermal paste issue as well. sometimes there was too much paste being put during assembly. on idle it is not a problem but when playing games it will result in much higher temp than it supposed to be. it happen with my 660 i the past where i end up have to replace them myself despite it was less than one month old.
