Question Msi Afterburner fan curve

Hi All

What fan curve should i set in msi afterburner?

Right now i have set 0 RPM till 49 c and post that it will increase slowly.

So is it better to run gpu without fan till 50c. Will it reduce gpu life?

Or shall i keep fan running all the time? Please recommend.

This query is a personal one: You set it up to your personal comfort zone - i.e., what your ears can comfortably tolerate.
This varies; there is no one size fits all here.

If you want to be pedantic, EVERYTHING reduces gpu life. It does you no good to get too hung up on it.
My personal opinion is to let the fans run, as they are part of case airflow anyway - 0rpm modes were a dumb idea for air cooled gpus.

I was just thinking. Why every vendor has launched zero fan technology till 50c if we don't set any manual curve.

Are they not aware of this dumb idea.

I can tolerate any fan noise whichever increases my GPU life😊

Enough people wanted it, so the vendors made it happen. Kinda like a 'be careful what you wish for' scenario.

Then run 'em at 100% when you're about to play - if your ears can tolerate it - then turn 'em down to 40% or something when you're done playing, or let the 0rpm function do it's thing. You got options.

i did put it on auto and fan speed is a 45 % and temp 38 c now .

I usually set the curve up as 50C= 20% and 80C= 100% just 2 points in MSI afterburner.
