So, I tried overclocking my pc with msi afterburner and after looking at some statistics I came up with this, +87 core voltage, 110 power limit, +150 copre clock, +450 memory clock and fan speed at 60. It said that my pc was at 30°C so I tried running overwatch with bots, and instead of the usal 110-120 fps I had 135+ all of the time, untill after 2 min where the game crashed and said that it doesn't support an overclocked gpu. So I reset the settings in msi and deleted it, but then the program ran at 40-50fps, so I restarted my computer, but nothing changed. all my other games ran slower too, so I downloaded the program again and tried to overclock my pc again to see if my games ran faster, but nothing changed, and I really don't want to reset my pc or buy a new graphics card for such a stupid mistake.

How do you mean? Which drivers, and how would I go on about doing this?

UPDATE: Ok, so I updated my graphics card through geforce and it works now, but can I overclock my graphics card now and it will be fine or should I just forget about it?

UPDATE 2: Ok, so since i'm kinda careless I tried overclocking it now and it worked, so thanks for pointing it out!

Which gpu are you using? All gpus overclock differently, any number of those changes you made might have been too much and caused instability

And in response to your second update, you can't assume it's stable because it works right now, it needs to be properly tested or you will have the same issue

Be careful when overclocking, make sure you monitor the temps of both the vram and gpu. As Nerro120 stated, you should use a stability test before committing to any overclock. I use 3dmark, but there are others available.
