So basically i installed an anti cheat called faceit anticheat, and it called out afterburner to be a disapproved application. after that i reeboted my pc, then when launching msi afterburner this happens, i have tried disabling faceit completly both the boot up, and the service but still, this happens. I tried reinstalling my display driver and updating windows 10 but nothing worked.

My specs are
Ryzn 7 3800x
Nvidia RTX 2080
16 GB 3200
Windows 10 version 1909

Solution
I had exactly same issue last night.

  • Download 2nd newest driver for your GPU.
  • Use DDU to remove current driver.
  • Reboot.
  • Install 2nd newest driver for your GPU.
  • Reboot
  • Problem solved.
Or at least worked for me.

I tryid using DDU to remove current driver, and re-installing newest driver. Also tryid re-installing Afterburner. But Afterburner still didnt detect my GPU, even tho device manager and other softwares detected it.
What fixed it for me, was installing 2nd newest driver.
