I just put in my new G1 GTX 1070, and am wanting to see what this thing can do. I have researched about overclocking time and time again. I know people prefer MSI afterburner, however the control of my LEDs on my G1 is through the gigabyte software. Is it possible to OC with MSI afterburner, and not have G1 Xtreme gaming changing the settings?

Solution
You shouldn't have to disable anything in oc_guru, atleast I didn't. In afterburner click settings and go to the monitoring tab to set the monitoring options.

Do I have to disable the OC part on the G1 software? Or Do I jsut open MSI Afterburner, and pick the settingsthrough that?
Also, I can't seem to find the GPU temp monitor on MSI Afterburner.
