Hello.

Whenever i try to overclock my gpu through msi afterburner, lets say i set it to 1100 mhz, click apply, msi does its thing with the screen etc but the problem is that the gpu core clock doesnt go above stock settings according to afterburner.
In the heavens benchmark it tells me that my core clock is overclocked, theres no difference in performance. According to msi afterburner it too says that my gpu is overclocked. But in the stats i can see that the max mhz my core clock has gone is not above stock speeds.

How do i solve this?
Thanks

Afterburner can, stress can, allow you to increase your boost clock. Note, I didn't say core clock. That number is fixed. How much boost you get depends on all the same factors that go into overclocking a CPU. Temps, voltage, etc. etc. Use GPU-Z and fiddle with your Afterburner some more, you might see what I'm talking about. Remember to increase your power target and your core voltage.
