Msi b150 not reading USB

Motherboard: MSI b150 gaming m3
I5 6500
2 4g ddr4 2133

I put my new PC together and it started fine. Mobo wouldn't recognize any USB devices. I used a ps/2 keyboard which worked to check all the settings and USB enabled / legacy USB enabled. No recognized USB devices still. I planned on installing windows through a USB but obviously couldn't. I stole a cd drive from an old computer of mine and connected it to my new build. Used the disk for windows 10 to install it. Used the disk that came with the motherboard to install all drivers. Still nothing. I've tried every USB port too.

In device manager under Universal Serial Bus controllers the only thing is
USB xHCI complaint host controller
It has the triangle with the ! in it. I tried to update the driver says it's already up to date. I tried uninstalling and resetting and nothing it reappears the same.

Please any advice is highly appreciated

I'd strongly recommend you go to your motherboard manufacturer's official website and find your mobo's model there. Under the Support tab, you should be able to find all the available drivers & utilities for it. Once you select your OS version, all the drivers available for that OS version should appear in a list. Make sure you manually install your USB Hub controller drivers straight from there, rather than letting Windows Updates take care of them. They usually tend to install more generic and a bit outdated driver versions.
