I had been having some black flickering throughout the last couple weeks, but I was just using it fine, then the screen went black with my cursor remaining. After rebooting, the whole screen is black. The motherboard lights up, the cpu lights up and runs. Sounds like it boots up, just no signal on the screen. I also did just update nvidia drivers around when the flickering started. However, I've tried plugging HDMI straight into motherboard and taking out Ram and GPU gave me still no signal. Just got my 3700x ryzen and this motherboard about a couple weeks ago.

Is the motherboard dead?

Any help?!!

Solution
Are you sure your monitor is plugged in the right socket on the GPU and not one on the motherboar?

Are you sure your monitor is working?

Are there any trouble shooting LED's lighting on the motherboard? There should be four: one labeled VGA, DRAM, CPU and BOOT. The one it stops at is where the trouble likely is. Look in your manual for location.

Plugging into the motherboard will not give a signal since your CPU does not have IGP! It can be a GPU problem just as motherboard problem.
