Question MSI B450 tomahawk max Jack problems.

Hello guys I've recently built my computer, the problem is that the jack device doesn't work, I've tried to put my headphone and no sound go out of it.
When I put my other headphone on only USB it work but when I go with the other on jack the Realtek panel recognize it but no sound on youtube.
I've tried to put again back the wires of the mobo and checking if everything it's fine, all it's ok...
The HD audio port are plugged right too... So i don't know how to fix it....

Hello,
Do you have a gpu also.
Open sound setting and check what is the default sound option Realtek or your gpu internal audio.
and have connect in middle green jack backside of motherboard panel.
If its front panel then you can manually change it in Realtek hd audio manager in setting you can select disable front panel jack detection.

Hey thanks for the answer I've already my sound settings put on Realtek as default.
Like I said when I put my other headphone who support only USB not jack it works.

I've tried both but no one works.

check your manual this is a 4 pins one so you need a splitter to use both mic and headphones also maker says usb is only for led light https://the-g-lab.tech/wp-content/uploads/Manuel-Korp-Vanadium.pdf

Thanks for the answer the splitter are actualy integred with the headphone, it doesn't work.

Try normal headphone without mic or speakers if they are working then you need splitter for your headphone.
