Question MSI B450M Pro-VDH Plus

It says on the bios update tab that the bios from May 17th of 2019 adds support to upcoming AMD Cpu's , does this mean that this bios update is the one that will enable this motherboard to run a Ryzen 5 3600?? , my friend is building a computer and he already bought this motherboard , he wants to get the ryzen 3600 and the store that sold him this mobo told him that they would update his mobo bios no problem , should he update it now or should he wait untill a new bios update comes along?

He should wait, and check out reviews AFTER the release of these models. There is likely to be some motherboard models found not capable of supporting these newer SKUs well enough to be commendable for use with the Ryzen 3000 part numbers and for some of them, they may not see support at all depending on the model of the CPU.
