MSI G41M-P26 wil support any ddr3 dual channel 1333mhz ram or not? will it overclock q6600 qnd up to which extent will it support ddr3 1333mhz 4gb ram

i think i found the answer from intel themselves-
read what's written underneath:

(ddr2 8gb maximum / ddr3 4gb maximum)

now the question is why do motherboard manufacturer still claims it's 8gb max...
i could understand this mistake for the combo boards which have both ddr2 and ddr3 (not simultaneously)....

have u tried the bios update for ram
its available at msi site

may be with this update it can run more memory

i have no need for it if you read this thread before answering, however if it's a chipset limitation no bios update will fix it, same as the cpu probably doesn't have too much to do with the ram support here since ram controller is in the chipset not in the cpu itself like for modern ones... but yes i would recommend the update to the OP, i did it on my board back when i had it, via the windows tool msi provides with no issues... even tho my 2x2gb ram worked before the update as well...
