**Describe your problem. List any error messages and symptoms. Be descriptive.**
I just bought a new processor, mobo, and RAM and after i put them in it booted fine originally but once windows took over after the bios it wasnt recognizing anything of my keyboards/mice. I tried a few things and eventually found someone who said to go into bios and change legacy USB to disabled and XHCI handoff to enabled and it might then recognize the mouse/keyboard. I did this and hit save and restart and since then it has never succesfully restarted. It looks like it is on but no output is going to the monitor. Several different error lights have been on but currently the ones on are:
BOOT(indicated is not detected or fail)
GPU LED(indicates the CPU's iGPU is not detected and you need to install a graphics card)

**List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem.**
I tried booting up with the GPU taken out. I tried switching to one RAM stick and trying both of them separately. I tried booting with no HDD's connected. I tried resetting the CMOS by taking out the battery for about 20 seconds. Nothing is working for me so far.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am really excited to try out the new build!

Solution

Unfortunately I dont have a cd drive

I was going to suggest that, but they need to be slip streamed into the installer, and thats a PITA to say the least.

I am trying to get windows 10 and i think I found a way so I am going to see how that goes for now. If I am able to get windows 10 on there could that potentially let me use the USB's?

It's got to be a legit version of Windows first of all. But if you plug something like a USB flash drive in a USB port and it still doesn't work, then it's got to be a defective USB port.

I got everything working once I finally got windows 10 on it which you can still upgrade to for free for anyone wondering at:

Thanks for your time/help everyone!

Huh, I didn't know that was still a thing. Good to know.
