If I made any errors in posting this, or there is a duplicate thread, please let me know.
So I bought a gaming laptop off of one of my friends who upgraded. It is an MSI GE75 Raider 10sf, with an i7 10750h, 2070 (max-p), and 16gb RAM. I reset it after getting it, and then the GPU wasn't detected. The laptop works just fine, just only Intel UHD. I've tried a lot, and I'm at the point of desperation and stress that I backed up the BIOS and flashed one off of TechPowerUp onto the gpu. Nothing changed. The GPU shows up in GPU-z with 0mb VRAM and a lot of specs as --unknown. I also then proceeded to flash the BIOS back to the one I saved, and nothing changed. Does anyone have a good solution or a good vBIOS that I could use? I ddu'd it while in safe mode and flashed it from safe mode. Am I making a silly mistake? I also tried MSI's drivers, to no avail. Thanks for looking, please let me know of any format errors, so I can fix them, or if I need to post in a different category.

To doublecheck, does the GPU show up in Device Manager but have an Error 43 in Properties? That would just confirm that the GPU is dead. The GPU is soldered onto the motherboard meaning that the only way you get the GPU revived is to replace the motherboard...or if you're under warranty, that you contact MSI and your seller together and get an RMA moving along.

I was really hoping it was something fixable/flashable like a vBIOS. And yes it does that :/ Error 43 in properties, Was able to try a BIOS after backing it up and it changed nothing. And it is not under warranty. Is there anything else I can try?
