MSI Geforce GTX 1050ti and the MSI 990FXA-GD65 MoBo

the new GTX 1050ti will not even let my pc start with any display's. I am upgrading from the GTX460. I get nothing when I install the GTX 1050ti. I then swap back out to old 460 and works fine. Does it sound like problem with power supply mine is a 1000W or the MOBO or a bad graphics card? driving me crazy... ps: disc drives will not work with new card in either. I did put the drivers in just to see and nothing. clear cmos for the heck of it.

AMD fx-6200 six core
windows 10 home 64-bit
16GB memory
1000w p.s.

I'm leaning towards something with the card because your PSU is plenty large enough and the other card works....so I'm thinking it's not the MB.

I would try the card in another machine.
