Hello, as the title suggests I'm in the market for a new Graphics Card and am currently looking at the MSI like in the title. My pc specs are Intel i7-4770K @ 3.5GHz | MSI Z87-G45 ATX | 16gb G.Skill 1600mhz | EVGA GTX780 SC ACX | Seasonic M12II Evo 750 | Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD | Samsung 840 EVO 250GB | Cooler Master HAF X | Win 7 Home Premium 64bit | Asus VG248QE 24Inch LED | Asus VE248H 24Inch LED.

Would it compliment well in this build? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the two responses. I'm going to look into other options as well as this. This may sound ridiculous but don't suppose you know the easiest way to clean a GPU of dust?!

Your suggestion that upgrading from the 780 to the 1060 makes sense. The cards have nearly identical performance so having somene spend that much money with little or no benefit isn't money well spent.

Seriously? The 1060 is as powerfull as the GTX980, are you suggesting both are equal in performance to the 780? Your simply mistaken.

On average the 1060 is 30% more poweful in gaming, uses 50% + less power from the PSU.

have a look here: https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_1060/26.html and you can most certainly see the difference.

Just to be clear, I didn't suggest the OP getting the card 'made sense'. The OP asked if would compliment his build, which it would. The OP could also just sell the 780 to offset the cost of purchasing the better 1060 card. He will get a nice improvement. On top of that, the OP has a decent system. With the 780 only having 3gb vram, he will run into problems soon enough and may have to dial back settings a little. Admittedly that depends on the game, as there aren't that many that use 3gb at 1080p. But the 1060 6gb will help there. Some new games use over 3gbs, and it will only continue that way in the future.
