Until there is no mandatory task that cannot be done without a touchscreen laptop, you may want to give the MSI laptop an upper hand.

Since MSI has faster 1TB HDD, you would get good user experience (especially when playing games) regardless of the size of the SSD that it has.

If I was you, I would have gone for better performance and increased resolution rather than choosing smaller touchscreen and large SSD with slower HDD.

Keep in mind you won't likely be gaming in 4k resolution. It doesn't provide much benefit and can possibly introduce scaling issues.

I have read here and a couple other places that the current gen AW 15 has serious cooling issues.
