MSI GTX 1080 not Gaming X version

I just bought a plain MSI GTX 1080 Gaming, not the X version.
Whats the difference between plain and X?

Gaming X has a higher factory overclock.

Fancy fans and rgb lights Yada Yada ......performance will be roughly the same either way as they all have the same chip

@norcalsc as far as I can tell they have the same cooler, RGB lights, etc. It appears they're identical other than the fact that one comes with higher clock speeds out of the box.
