I'm looking to get a new graphics card, but I'm torn as to which one I get. I will use 1080x1920 resolution. I do not wish to get anything below GTX 1080, as I would like to get very high FPS, as well as future proofing, but I would like to save myself some money if I can, and at the same time, I don't want to end up with annoyances.

My concerns are:

The Asus GTX 1080 Card: Might be loud with the three fans it got, and might sag, due to being a fairly long card.

The MSI GTX 1080ti Card: Might not be worth the money for 1080p gaming (seeing that my other alternative is already too good for it) + might not perform that much better, due to fairly low clock speed.

Any informed opinions about this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

It's quite the opposite with the Asus one actually.
Due to it having 3 fans, those can spin at Lower RPM and provide the same cooling performance as 2 fans.
i.e, it should be more silent.

While the 1080TI does seem overkill for 1080P resolution, it will be more future proof due to it providing about 25% more performance over the 1080.
As graphics evolve, the both cards will have a hard time keeping up. I'd say the 1080TI will have you about 1 extra year compared to the 1080.

I have i5-7600. Is it gonna bottleneck the FPS in most modern games? If yes, which CPU do you recommend (locked, I don't OC anything)?

According to that chart, the 7600 is bottlenecking in everything on the 1080TI.
The 1080 would be bottlenecked only in the worst case scenario.
Seems like the i5 8400/8500/8600 series would be the minimum CPU to not cause any major problems on both cards.
Do note that "bottleneck" simply means you won't be getting the maximum number of FPS possible with that GPU.

Any idea on the extent (%) of bottlenecking for the 1080ti?
