[SOLVED] MSI GTX 1660 Super, question on measurement

Hi, just want to be sure on this. Thinking of purchase an MSI GTX 1660 Super. There's one available in stock at the local mall store.

on the official website, it says the card dimension is 247 x 127 x 46 mm --- I assume that the 247, is the length of the card, correct?

the reason I ask is because my Dell Optiplex 7010 is currently using an MSI GTX 1050ti -- when I checked the dimension of the card, it's only 215 x 112 x 38 mm .... the nose of the 1050 ti is already bumping the Sata cable of the motherboard. So any little increase in length, would mean I would have to unplug a Sata cable to make the card fit...

Yes, length, width, height are the three numbers you mentioned.

thanks for the reply. Ugh... I need to plan this carefully then. Maybe I can just unplug the Sata cable for the cd drive to make more room for the nose of the GPU.

took a pic of the inside of my case. Unfortunately, I have to give up on the MSI 1660, it's too big. A little sad, because I already have funds to buy it.

the MSI 1050ti is touching the red SATA cable. Any GPU that is longer probably won't fit. The MSI 1660 is an inch longer than the 1050ti.
