Just got a new MSI GTX 770 2GB gpu. NVIDIA Installer cannot continue the graphics drive cannot find compatible graphics hardware.

I've read a bunch of forums, I tried the suggested modify nvam file, with device ID but it's not working. I must be doing something wrong. Can anyone please help?

why don't you install manually from their website: http://www.nvidia.in/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-in

Need a few bits of info and then I'll see if I can modify the inf and make it available.

1. What is the full device ID of your card?
2. What operating system are you using (version, and architecture - e.g. Windows 7 64 bit)
3. What driver version are you trying to install from Nvidia?

I have exactly the same problem with a MSI GTX760 Hawk 2gb on Windows 7 Pro 64bit.
It is seated properly into the motherboard, both 8pin power connectors are attached, the computer boots and otherwise works normally as a VGA card.
