msi gtx 970 4g overclocking

Hi guys,

I have reached 1500 mhz stable on the core clock at 1.2370 v , 72 c max in heaven benchmark, anything more on core clock and small artifacts show up.

This is already a nice overclock, but i was wondering if i would raise the voltage to 1.262v in afterburner it would be able to clock higher without artifacts, this is not the case, i even bios modded to 1.275v but i can't clock it higher then 1500 mhz without artifcating .

Is it that i reached the max core clock for this card ? or is there something i can try, could more cooling fix the artifacts?

I'd stop where you are unless you want to risk damaging the video card.

just the luck of the draw got the same card and could get 1500mhz without raising the voltage

can get 1600mhz+ now with modded bios but watercooling it now

so if its not watercooled stick at 1500mhz and be happy
