MSI gtx 970 vs Gigabyte Windforce gtx 970

I have heard that the gigabyte can be louder than msi but that it performs a little better (few fps). But in my opinion it doesn't look nearly as good and my build has mostly red parts in it so the msi would fit better aesthetically. So to clarify I want to know if it is true that gigabyte has slightly better performance and if it is louder. If the difference isn't much better than I'm willing to sacrifice a few fps for the better looking card, but only if the difference really is as small as people say. Also I may overclock so which one would be better for overclocking? And by how much?
