Hi ,
I have a 2014 bought MSi Afterburner GeForce GTX 750 ti [ oc version] .

Recently while playing games, my GPU's temperature started flaring upto 94 degrees .. I used afterburner application to reduce the temperature to 84~ 85 degrees but fan speed has increased .. Is this normal ? I play games at 900p resolution with low ~ medium settings .

Solution
That doesn't seem normal.
Normal would be about 80C and below.
Is this a desktop?
If so.....try running with the case open and see if that gets you anything.
Also I would check the fans on the GPU and make sure they are spinning freely and properly.

Solution
It's just maintenance time. An hr or two of your time and cleaning off old thermal paste, re applying new paste, cleaning fan blades and heat sink of all those dust bunnies. Also if you use compressed air to blow card out keep the fan blade from spinning while doing so. One last thing using an older driver can help with heat sometimes newer Drivers tend to make ageing cards run Hotter.
