MSI Gus 2? What happened?

Do anyone know when we can see MSI's GUS 2 or similar external GPU solutions get out on the market?
I have been waiting for this since I saw it on CES 2012 but after one year with out any news I start to doubt to see it come in a near future... (?)

Any rumors I have missed?

If I need to bring my computer at train on the way home to my old town, where I often spend some days playing games with friends? Ain't going to happen with a desktop...
I do also need a lightweight laptop in school, so buying a gaming laptop at 3+ kg is not either going to work.

With Gus 2, I could simply have one laptop for all scenarios. Connecting the laptop at home for GPU boost in gaming and easy to transport when i travel.

External GPUs need to be a more popular thing
