T theory Distinguished Apr 20, 2001 2 0 18,510 Apr 20, 2001 #1 I just got a MSI K7-Master (MS-6341) and a Thunderbird 1.13 cpu. When I boot up, the MS-6341 recoginizes the processer as an Athlon running at 850MHz. What is going on. Do I need to clear a jumper or something. Thanks,

G Guest Guest Apr 20, 2001 #2 The current BIOS gets confused with 266 FSB CPU's. You have to set voltage FSB and maybe the multiplier on your own.
