For the most part, I love this board, despite for some reason, I can't get my 5600+ 2.8ghz above 2.9ghz. That's not my concern though.

The question is (get ready, it might be stupid)

Is it possible to run a Quad core processor on this board, either through normal compatibility or some kind of "cracked bios" or something? I'm on DDR2 800 OCZ 5-5-5-15 2GB Memory, if it helps. If anyone is not familiar with the board, it has a molex connector for auxiliary power. I think this goes to the processor.

Thanks in advance

A lower wattage tri-core maybe, but all the Phenom X4's are too high a wattage (for a decent one) 95W, or 125W (you need one below 95W). I'd recommend a new MB, if possible a Gigabyte, or ASUS. Otherwise you can just transplant your other components.

Alright, thanks guys. Yeah, the support list says only X2's so I thought I'd ask. I should also look at the wattage limit, who knows, maybe it will accept a 125 watt. :) If I can put a Phenom Quad in there, I'll do that instead of forking over my life savings for Core i7.
