Have setup computer using old KT4V-L Bios 1.9 ---- cannot upgrade
BIOS to 1.B or !.C ---- Will this board support AMD Sempron CPU? MSI
has not answered question.

Your MSI motherboard KT4V will work with a Sempron CPU. Mine does but I
still haven't been able to speed up the FSB - I'm currently running the
FSB at 100MHz and only getting a CPU clock speed of about 1200MHz (the
chip is rated at 2100MHz, so there is scope for improvement)
