I have an MSI laptop with decent specs. I am also trying to sell it, as i recently upgraded. While trying to factory reset the laptop, I got an error message saying there was a problem with the reset. I clicked continue on to windows 10 (which i had installed before hand). I was gonna just try again. Instead, when I tried to boot up the laptop, the MSI logo appeared, then disappeared. The screen then went black, turned on agian and showed the MSI logo. It is stuck in this constant loop and I am not super tech savvy. If anyone could help that'd be great. Thanks

Hmm if you can get this far you can select the media, usually a USB drive or a DVD, that has the Windows 10 installation and move it in front of your hard drive in the boot order. Hopefully this will force your computer to try and boot from your Windows installation media and then you can do the reinstallation. Once the reinstallation starts you may have to change the boot order back so that your hard drive is in front of the Windows 10 installation media in the boot order, otherwise the laptop may keep trying to start a fresh Windows 10 installation.
Was the factory reset option from the MSI bios or were you doing the Windows 10 reset? Either way I would try to see if reinstalling Windows 10 will take you out of the boot loop. Maybe the Windows 10 installation got corrupt due to the reset failure.

I would love to try and reinstall windows 10, but I have tried everything. I cannot get passed the MSI bootup logo. I did a windows 10 factory reset

Yes. I can get in but don't know what to do from there

That;s what it looks like I have to do. I dont have a dvd or usb. How much storage would I need to download windows 10 onto a usb? 4GB? Thanks for the response btw

Looking at the Windows 10 USB I got from Amazon, the Windows 10 Pro installation is taking up 7.14 GB on a 14.4 GB (16GB) flash drive. It does include both the 32 and 64 bit version, with the 64 bit being over 4GB, so if you can just download the 64bit version you should be good with an 8GB. If you can't just get the 64 bit file I would definitely go with a 16GB flash since they are not much more expensive and it will ensure you have enough room.
