MSI Titan GT80S, running several different version of Windows 10 on it as well as CentOS (3 separate SSDs)
One Win10 latest-greatest, the other is a clone made in January. All have issues with freezing. Not Blue Screen of Death, but the screen displays whatever was on it but the machine stops responding to any keyboard or mouse commands, or touchpad.
The laptop freezes with all of them, sometimes before it even boots into anything.
I tried to run a diagnostic program to test memory and it froze during that process. No windows booted at that time.
no problems previously, it just started. Had the SSD in it for a year.
Temperature looks normal for everything. Replaced the battery. Still freezes. When the fan is turned on on Turbo, it appears to last longer but still freezes after an hour or so. When I force it to power off, it does not turn on at all (no POST), doesn't even get to BIOS. Have to wait a bit, and then it boots.
What does it all suggest?
