Just installed a new 390X from MSI and MSI live update wont open, it says, "This application is not supported by this platform."

Things of note: My motherboard is an Asrock z77 extreme 4, with i7-3770.
I tried to update my mobo drivers, I think they are updated.
This card is a replacement for an NVIDIA card so I already took out the NVIDIA drivers.

So any idea why MSI live update won't open? My computer won't recognize the graphics card at the moment.
I installed the amd control center on my computer but I can't seem to open it to manually control it. I get the distinct feeling my computer is lying to me when it says that the AMD control center is installed because I Cannot find it anywhere.

Solution
I just wanted to clear MSI's name here. This was all user error on my part. Lesson learned make sure you plug the power cords all the way in. Then once your power cords are plugged in, make sure you didn't unseat your card.

Everything works perfectly fine now.

Ok that makes sense, but now how do I get my computer to recognize my graphics card.

I downloaded the Crimson edition amd drivers but it still doesn't recognize my card.
I even downloaded the driver sweeper and swept out my old Nvidia drivers, and the amd ones I had just installed. I reinstalled a fresh set to no avail.

I am starting to wonder if I got a bad card.

I just re-read your post also, and you did state MSI 390x, unless you changed that after my post, but don't think so. MSI Live Update might only work for motherboards and not graphic-cards.

Anyhow, thanks for being down-to-Earth about this, and cheers that you have got it working now!!!
