Hi everyone,

I am going to replace my old PSU "Cooler Master V650S Gold". Recently, the PC shuts down randomly (figured out that it is due to +5V drops).

I need your advice on which one to choose:

1) MSI MPG A650GF GOLD
2) COOLER MASTER MWE 650 GOLD V2
3) CORSAIR CX650F RGB BRONZE

Build quality, long lifetime, and stable performance under continuous full "CPU" load are important for me (Efficiency, RGB lighting, Fully Modular are not important).

Below is the specification of my 8 years old PC (some kind of workstation):

Intel Core i7-5820K (140w TDP)
Asus Sabertooth x99
4x4GB Corsair Vengeance LPX
Asus GT 610 2GB
1 SSD, 1 HDD
1x140mm, 5x120mm fans

I know 650 w is overkill for such a system, but it's not bad to keep some room for a future upgrade.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Out of those 3 units, in your list, I'd get the MSI unit.
In fact, I am also inclined to it. It's cheaper and has more warranty than the two others in my country. The only thing that makes me wonder, is its short "hold-up" times. Is the "hold_up time" an important specification for a PSU?

The MSI is the one to get out of your options the hold up time is not an issue.
Oh well. And maybe the last question. What about its +12V multi-rail?

According to MSI's site
25.0A -->> +12VMBPH
25.0A -->> +12VCPU
30.0A -->> +12VVGA1
30.0A -->> +12VVGA2

At the moment I just have GT 610 VGA. Is 25.0A +12VCPU enough for the overclocked Core i7-5820K (140 w TDP) with its all cores\threads fully loaded? Would there be any load balance out issues?

yes it is 12x25=300watts should be no issues.

Your motherboard has an optional 4 pin CPu connector. The PSU comes with 2 CPU cables. The 2nd cable can be connected to VGA2/CPU.

You pointed out an interesting thing. Yes there is an additional 4pin connector near the 8pin one. Does "VGA 2 & CPU" imply that the designated 30.0A for +12VVGA2 can be used for CPU powering. BTW, do you mean I must use both CPU connectors when all cores are under full load?
