Hello,
I have a MSI Z390 gaming edge ac for about 4 years now. Yesterday my AIO pump died, while removing the cooler to RMA it, I saw there is a few small components missing on the back of the motherboard (right behind the CPU socket).
On left is a reference image I found online, on the right my motherboard with the missing SMD (the one surrounded in red in first pic)
I have no idea if it was there at first, and didn't found anything on the case and around my building desk.
Is it safe to run the setup in this state?
