[SOLVED] MSI NX8500GT-TD256EH/D2. Yes, thats right.

2 years ago, my grandpa gave me his MSI NX8500GT-TD256EH/D2. At this day, this card is about 12 years old. I'm not planning on using it, but maybe I'll build an old school build (with components of around the same age).

But I'm not sure if this thing is working. Is there a big chance that it's still working? And if there is no guess about this, how can I test it?
(assuming plugging it in wont work on my Win 10 system, with the latest NVIDIA driver)

I think that might be the same as a GeForce 8500 GT.
I would install it, remove all the old GPU drivers., install the right driver and try it.
It's PCIe.

Unless you've been playing frisbee with it. It's probably fine.

As for building a retro gaming system around it. I couldn't imagine doing so. It was a low end card for it's day. I'd use something like an 8800GT.
