so my graphics card which is an MSI R9 290 reaches 83-93C° while gaming and my fans are on 90% or so and it should not be that hot as i see them at reviews and i see people not even hitting the 80s any ideas whats the problem? and also while playing bf4 i get gpu activity spikes from 100% to 0% or so,so my fps drops for a second or two but game runs very smooth with the exception of the frame drop any ideas how to fix this also? thanks

What case do you have and is your GPU reference or aftermarket? Also, what settings are you using, if any, in CCC? Running stock? Do you have any other expansion cards that may be blocking airflow next to the GPU? Check that all the fans in your case are spinning esp. the front intake and rear exhaust. Also, if you can, increase the speed of as many case fans as you can.

its an aftermarket cooler the msi gaming edition one,and i have a side intake blowing on it and im running stock everything nothing overclocked, what about dat gpu spikes? case is cooler master k380

I have the same cpu with an r9 280x, never had bottlenecking issues. Take a look at the link i posted earlier, use some of the software mentioned and have a little play around, see if you can sort it with that :)
