I recently built my first computer, things were working fine for a couple of weeks but now the graphics card sometimes doesn't work. The monitor won't recognise the input (I have switched monitors and cables so it is the card/motherboard). I opened up the PC and pushed the card, and it did work for a while but then stopped again. I've now completely taken it out and put it back in, and it's working. Hoping this doesn't happen again, but if it does is there any common things I could do to troubleshoot the problem or try to fix?

What you did was a first good step to troubleshoot. The card was probably not seated all the way.

Always troubleshoot starting with the physical hardware. Check cable connection, if cards are seated properly in their slots, swap out cables, try different ports, try different slots, reset motherboard bios, and removing the GPU from the system to see if the issue persists with iGPU. Just quick things you should try first.
